About This Blog

First, I want to say “Thank You” for stopping my website. In this “blog world” there is so much information to read; I’m honored you chose to stop by, if only for a brief moment. I hope you have been encouraged, challenged and  provoked into thinking by what you have read.

This blog exits for one purpose: Transparency.

As a man, I am passionate about three things: leadership, building projects and investing in people, all for the purpose of ministry. This blog is simply my personal take on these issues, issues in the church and issues in life. The words I write are just that; the words I write. I do not claim to have any great wisdom. I simply love to observe and write.

I hope you enjoy what you read. Please feel free to comment and provide any feedback you feel necessary.

Again, thank you for stopping by.

Blessings,

I happened upon your blog as I was seeking inspiration concerning a matter I’ve been struggling with for almost 3 years. In an attempt to listen to pastor Paul Sheppard, who has preached messages that encouraged me to press on, I was met with the news of his resignation. I came accross your blog as I searched further to confirm his sad, frustrating fall. As a victim of “immoral failure”, it was ironic that the nature of his fall was the same thing that I was seeking inspiration for. It almost felt like a slap in the face. I read your blog on this matter and was pleasantly suprised to come across such an honest, transparent and mutual point of view. I too am a deep thinker and was inspired in a direction other than originally sought. Long story short…thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Thank you for taking the time read a little from my blog and for your encouraging comment. In a Christian culture that many times chooses to see life from one perspective (mostly the negative perspective), I pray God always allows me to take a “bird’s eye view.” Thanks again for your encouragement and for taking a moment to comment. I am grateful for your inspiration in a “new direction.” Praying for you even now…
